Fulham's £11.5million man Steve Marlet is likely to make his full debut when the Cottagers take on Leicester at Filbert Street.

The French international, 27, has recovered from the knee injury that blighted the start of his career with the Londoners and is expected to start up front alongside Louis Saha on Saturday.

Fulham's French manager Jean Tigana is still without his countryman Alain Goma, whose hip problem is keeping him in the treatment room. The centre-back is returning to fitness but is not ready to make his comeback in the clash with Peter Taylor's men.

Wales midfielder Matthew Jones looks set to miss Leicester's game against Fulham after having six stitches in a head wound.

Jones has been feeling under the weather since an accidental clash with Middlesbrough's Paul Ince last Monday.

Muzzy Izzet (hamstring) and James Scowcroft (calf) are also doubtful but Gary Rowett could return after a knee injury.
