Ex-Fulham skipper Lee Clark is now training with Newcastle United.

Clark, a life-long Newcastle fan, was released by Fulham at the end of last season when he refused to accept reduced terms. The Geordie was rumoured to be on a £30k a week contract signed when The Cottagers were spending big.

Prior to Newcastle United Clark had been in discussions with Leeds United but again could not agree terms.

Newcastle are reported to be considering whether or not to offer Clark a monthly contract.
