Fulham manager Kit Symons says he has already held talks with agents and other clubs about potential summer transfer dealings.

The Whites are set for a busy offseason after they finished a disappointing 17th in the Championship and Symons is expected to oversee an overhaul of the squad.

The likes of Hugo Rodallega and Tim Hoogland are out of contract in the summer while loanees Konstantinos Stafylidis, Michael Turner, Danny Guthrie and James Husband will all return to their parent clubs.

Symons is sure to dip into the transfer market to replace the outgoing players, and he says the club have already started working towards bringing in some new faces.

"There's going to be numerous meetings with agents," he said.

"We have started already. We're permanently in meetings with the agents of our existing players and also of potential players who could be coming in.

"It's a busy time. We're contacting other clubs, players and agents.

We want to get as much work done early as possible.

"It's difficult because ideally everyone wants their business done as early as they can, but quite often players can have two or three clubs they play off each other.

"But we are well-prepared, we have a good strategy in place and starting our business now gives us a chance.

If we can get one or two over the line early that takes the pressure off."

Perhaps Symons' most important piece of business this summer could be holding on to young forward Patrick Roberts.

The 18-year-old, who can play on the right flank or behind the striker, has been attracting the interest of Manchester United and Manchester City and a £10m move could potentially be on the cards.
