Former Fulham boss Kit Symons has registered an interest in the Charlton job - but it is not yet clear if the former Fulham boss is a serious contender for the vacancy.
The South London Press has been told that the 45-year-old, whose first managerial role came as a caretaker at Crystal Palace in 2003, has made contact with the Addicks.
Symons has been out of work since being sacked by Fulham in November 2015.
He took over at Craven Cottage after Felix Magath was axed in October 2014 and a decent return of points saw owner Shad Khan make his temporary stint into a full-time position.
But after that the form that Fulham showed was patchy and he left with a win percentage of 34.4.
