Woking midfielder Kevin Betsy is to stay on with the Cards for another season after signing a new one-year deal.
Star midfielder Betsy, who also works for Fulham's academy, had been mulling over his future since before the end of last season.
A statement from Woking FC said: "Woking Football Club is delighted to announce that Kevin Betsy has signed contractual forms for the 2014/15 season."
Optimism among fans that the 36-year-old might play on at Kingfield for at least another year rose following a comment from club legend Geoff Chapple on Thursday (June 19).
Quizzed about the veteran player, the Cards' football director told the Surrey Advertiser: "There are big changes at Fulham, which is where Kevin coaches during the day, but I would expect some pretty decent news sooner or later."
