Former Fulham defender Josh Passley has become Dagenham & Redbridge's second signing of the summer after joining the club on a one-year deal.
The defender was released by Championship outfit Fulham but has spent time on trial with Daggers in recent weeks.
Passley has started all three first-team pre-season friendlies so far, playing against St Albans City, Maidstone United and Dulwich Hamlet.
His efforts in those fixtures, and on the training pitch, have clearly impressed manager Wayne Burnett enough to offer the 20-year-old a permanent contract.
Passley has experience in League Two, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Portsmouth.
He has also previously played at Victoria Road, having started for Pompey in February's 1-1 draw.
