Fulham manager Martin Jol has shrugged off speculation that highly-rated youngster Moussa Dembele could become a target for leading Premier League clubs.

The France Under-17 international was on the bench for Saturday's defeat against Swansea and has impressed for Fulham's Under-18 and Under-21 sides since being signed from Paris St-Germain last year.

Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs to have been linked with Dembele, 17.

But Jol said: "My worry is not about Moussa and the future, because the boy loves it here.

"The only thing we've got to do in the next couple of years is try to talk to him and keep him.

"He came to the club two years ago and he is still under contract, so we are very happy with him.

"Moussa is 17 now and he's strong, he scores goals in almost every match, but he is still a bit raw."

Dembele scored more than 30 goals in two seasons for the Whites' Under-18s before being promoted to development squad this term.

Jol added: "I took him up to the Under-21s three months ago, so he is not with the Under-18s any more.

"We've got three or four other youngsters who are in same mould. They're very good, very talented, but they need to be patient."
