Fulham coach Slavisa Jokanovic lamented that his side was unable to hit top form during the 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers, at Craven Cottage.
Two first half goals from Tom Cairney and Lucas Piazon put the Whites in command, but the visitors were able to claw their way back into the game.
“To be honest, we didn’t find our best performance,” said Jokanovic.
“We had possession of the ball, but we were a little bit sloppy. We scored two goals in the first-half and had the situation more or less under control, but their first goal did important damage.
“We weren’t comfortable enough in this situation. Then, after a mistake, they scored a second and they deserved it because they created some chances.
“There’s no reason to change our style now and we didn’t try to change it. We tried to make an impact by putting our players in between lines.
“With Rui Fonte we tried to find one player who can connect between the lines. The same with Floyd. These are the reasons why I made these substitutions.
“Simply, we weren’t strong enough to find our best performance. On the other side, we deserved to win the game after the first 45 minutes, but they equalised and changed the game.”
The win marked sixteen games unbeaten for the Whites – a Club record, still Fulham’s Head Coach was unhappy that his side were unable to claim all three points.
“We can’t be satisfied, but it’s part of football,” explained Jokanovic.
“I’m not here to fight for records - I am here to win games. We didn’t win today, but I must accept that sometimes we won’t find our best performances and this can lead to losing some points after nine victories at home.
“We need to be strong and get ready for the next steps.”
