Ipswich (0) 1-1 (0) Fulham
Moussa Dembele had fired Fulham ahead after 67 minutes but Knudsen struck in injury-time to snatch a point for Mick McCarthy’s men.
The game was 20 minutes old before either side came close to a half-decent effort, with Dembele shooting wide from 20 yards after being set up by Ross McCormack.
Home keeper Bartosz Bialkowski then dived low to turn away a Ryan Tunnicliffe effort when the midfielder was clean through before superbly denying Shaun Hutchinson.
A bright spot in a dismal showing by the Tractor Boys was 16-year-old Andre Dozzell, who was handed his full debut days after scoring as a substitute on his bow at Sheffield Wednesday.
McCarthy brought on David McGoldrick and Kevin Bru 10 minutes after the break – and Ipswich finally had something that resembled an effort on goal when Liam Feeney nodded a tame header straight at Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli.
The deadlock was fi nally broken by the visitors when Dembele swept in a superb right-footed shot.
But Knudsen’s stoppage time effort from 16 yards out levelled matters when it hit the underside of the bar and went in.
