Fulham manager Mark Hughes has expressed his delight at the return of striker Bobby Zamora.

The forward made his second substitute appearance at Everton on Saturday after breaking his leg against Wolves last September.

The England international set up American Clint Dempsey with his first touch in the 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park, and Hughes admits the Cottagers have missed the 30-year-old who netted 19 times last season.

The Welshman was quoted as saying by The Sun: "You saw the difference he makes. He gives a focal point to the attack and a physical presence we have lacked up there.

"He's not at a level that he was before the injury but he soon will be."

The Cottagers currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, just three points ahead of 18th-placed Wolves.
