Graham Taylor insists the First Division title race is not a foregone conclusion.
Jean Tigana's side lead nearest challengers Bolton by seven points and have played two games less but Taylor, whose side are fifth, stressed the title race is far from over.
He said: "I don't think anybody can be away and clear with half a season to go. That just can't happen.
"Having said that, it would be as much them throwing it away perhaps as other people gaining on them.
"You look at Bolton and Blackburn coming through strongly - there's a lot to happen. We've all got one another to play and I said at the start of the season that we'll all keep beating each other."
