Fulham teenager Tyrese Francois is the latest Premier League academy player to attract interest from overseas - with Valencia hoping to sign him on a free this summer.
The 18-year-old midfielder is likely to be offered a new contract by Fulham when his current two-year deal ends in June.
Valencia are confident of enticing the youngster to La Liga, but will face competition from British clubs.
Francois moved to England from Australia with his family six years ago and he now holds dual-nationality.
He joined Fulham in 2017 and was involved with the first team squad for last summer's pre-season programme in Spain.
Meanwhile, his younger brother Marlee, 16, is close to joining Bristol City.
The Sky Bet Championship club have been alerted to the older sibling's situation and could offer him a quicker route to first-team football.
