Middlesbrough has completed the signing of Fulham winger Neeskens Kebano on loan until the end of the season, subject to EFL clearance.
The 28-year-old is a deadline day capture for Boro boss Neil Warnock as he strengthens his squad and increases his attacking options for the Championship run-in.
Kebano is a double promotion winner with Fulham, having played a part in their 2018 and 2020 elevations to the Premier League.
Prior to joining Fulham, where he has made almost a century of appearances, Kebano started his career with Paris Saint-Germain before spells with Caen, Charleroi, and Genk.
Kebano is also an international team-mate of both Britt Assombalonga and Yannick Bolasie for DR Congo, and has scored six goals for his country.
Manager Neil Warnock said: “It’s a deal I didn’t think would happen. We’ve been after Neeskens for a few weeks now and we’ve managed to get it over the line which is a real plus for us.
Fulham FC statement:
The Club can confirm that Neeskens Kebano has joined Middlesbrough on loan for the remainder of the season.
He joins up with Fulham teammate Marcus Bettinelli on Teesside.
We would like to wish Neeskens the best of luck for the rest of the Championship campaign.
