The Carabao Cup second-round draw has been held and Fulham was a new names in the pot for the second round as were all Premier League sides not involved in Europe.
Fulham were drawn away to Birmingham City.
There has only been one meeting between the two clubs in the League Cup which Fulham won away in October 2004. Mark Pembridge,
now an academy coach at Fulham, scored the only goal.
The matches will be played during the week beginning Monday August 23
Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, West Ham and Tottenham will all feature in the third-round draw.
