Defenders Tommy Elphick and Micah Richards are both expected to miss Aston Villa's Sky Bet Championship clash at home to Fulham.
New Villa boss Steve Bruce thinks both Elphick and Richards could miss two to three weeks as both have suffered calf problems.
Midfielder Jack Grealish will miss the Villa Park clash as he serves the second game of a three-match ban.
Bruce will also weigh up whether to hand striker Jordan Ayew a recall to the starting line-up.
Villa's defeat by Fulham in the two sides' most recent meeting in April 2014 was their first in 13 home league meetings with the Whites.
