FULHAM
11th in Premiership
with 26 points
Position achievable
after MatchDay 22:
Highest 9th - Lowest 14th
  • FULHAM held the faltering champions Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Now they must turn their attention to a club struggling at the other end of the table, in Watford. Chris Coleman will expect his side to improve on three straight draws with a their 50th Premiership victory under his stewardship, to take the Cottagers' unbeaten run to five.
  • Chelsea, Wigan and Reading are the only clubs to have left Craven Cottage with maximum points this season. The west London side have picked up seven points from a last possible nine at their home on the banks of the Thames from victories over Arsenal and Middlesbrough and a goalless draw with West Ham.
  • The Cottagers beat Watford 5-0 in their most recent home League meeting - a clash at second League level on Boxing Day, 2000, when Barry Hayles bagged a hat trick.

Position achievable
after MatchDay 22:
Highest 20th - Lowest 20th
  • WATFORD were holding Wigan to a 1-1 draw when the elements forced the abandonment of Saturday's match after 55 minutes at Vicarage Road. It leaves Aidy Boothroyd's side 10 points short of safety with two games in hand on their rivals, four points adrift at the foot. They go to Craven Cottage on a three-match losing run, eight without a victory, and in search of only their second League win of the season.
  • The Hornets have managed just three points from 30 away from home, from a 1-1 draw at Wigan, and goalless draws at Charlton and Manchester City. They've only recorded one victory on the road in Premier League history (0-1, against Liverpool on 14 August 1999).
  • Six goals were shared between these sides when they met at Vicarage Road in September. Ashley Young's second in the 89th minute salvaged a point for the Hornets, who had earlier thrown away a two-goal lead.

  • Only Liam ROSENIOR has been on the field for every minute of every one of Fulham's Premiership matches this season.
  • If on the field from the outset, Ian PEARCE will be making his 50th Premiership start in Fulham colours.
  • If he participates, Heider HELGUSON will be facing his former club. The Iceland International made 199 appearances for Watford, scoring 64 goals (174 apps, 55 goals in the League) between January 2000 and his £1.1 move to the Cottage in July 2005.
