Fulham striker Louis Saha who made a successful comeback against Birmingham has picked up an unrelated irritation to his hamstring in the game against Bolton. He will now face a fitness test to see if he in a condition to play on Sunday.

Steve Marlet has been suffering from a grade one strain to his left hamstring sustained during the Man City game. He will undergo a fitness test on Sunday morning. Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar (foot) is consulting a specialist in Holland and due back in training in three weeks.

Junichi Inamoto is doing well. He should have taken the ball by the end of this week and will be looking at another few days before he is back in full training.

Lee Clark (calf) is being rested this weekend.

Jon Harley is available after his one match ban while Pierre Wome is suspended for for the last game of his three match suspension.

Middlesbrough midfielder Mark Wilson is back in contention for a place in the side to face Fulham on Sunday after shaking off a back injury.

Long-term absentee Ugo Ehiogu is recovering from fractured ribs and a punctured lung and is likely to be out for a further six weeks.

Dutch midfielder George Boateng is progressing well after knee surgery and could return by the end of the month.

New arrival John Eustace is included in the squad after completing a month's loan move from Coventry, but having had just one day's training with Boro he is unlikely to be involved.
