Fulham have an increasing injury list to cope with and are now without three strikers.

Luis Boa Morte is out with the thigh injury that saw him miss Portugal's 2-0 success over Scotland on Wednesday.

Striker Barry Hayles has now been told to put his feet up for another three weeks with a neck vertebrae injury

Louis Saha is out until at least mid-January after his operation on the hamstring injury which has sidelined him since September.

There is some good news as Sean Davis will make a surprise return to the squad. Davis has watched from the sidelines as his team-mates have tumbled down the Premiership table - but now, after a 45-minute reserves run-out on Tuesday, he is ready to make his comeback from a fractured toe.

Stephane Henchoz returned to full training at Liverpool on Thursday but the Swiss defender is unlikely to be rushed back into action for the trip to Fulham. It is more likely that he could make his comeback alongside Sami Hyypia in next Thursday's UEFA Cup third round trip to Vitesse Arnhem.

The form of youngster Djimi Traore as Henchoz's stand-in following six weeks out after a calf operation, means that boss Gerard Houllier does not have to hurry Henchoz back.

Patrik Berger, who damaged knee ligaments in a reserve game this week, is expected to be out for two weeks.

If Liverpool, now second in the Premiership, fail to win at Loftus Road it will be the first time they have gone four games without a victory since October 2000.
