Fulham up for the Cup

Fulham defender Steve Finnan has his sights
on Worthington Cup glory insisting that the club are desperate to make progress
in this season's Worthington Cup.
Jean Tigana's side kick-off their cup campaign with a tricky trip to face
Third Division high-fliers Rochdale on Tuesday night.
The manager is expected to pick some of his first team fringe players to
give them some crucial match practice at Spotland.
But Republic of Ireland international Finnan says the team's dream of qualifying
for Europe means they cannot afford to take the competition lightly.
He said: "The game at Rochdale won't be easy because they are doing
well in their division and they will want to have a go at us.
"We started thinking about the Rochdale game the moment the final whistle
went at Charlton and we know it is an important match.
"Everyone at Fulham wants to get into Europe and the Worthington Cup
is a great way to get there."
Midfielder John Collins also claimed the club will be approaching the game
in their usual ultra-professional manner.
He said: "Some people say it's a potential banana skin but it won't
be if we approach the game in the right manner - and I'm sure the manager
will make sure we do that."
