Fulham will sign Dwight Gayle on loan from Crystal Palace this week, according to reports
The Cottagers have moved for the forward after Alan Pardew swooped for £9million Sunderland striker Connor Wickham.
Gayle has been pushed down the pecking order at Selhurst Park after the arrival of Wickham and Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.
And Pardew is anxious to reduce the wage bill to account for these new arrivals.
Gayle has mostly been on the bench since his £6m switch from Peterborough two years ago.
But a move across London to join up with Kit Symons will enable the frontman to kickstart his career at Craven Cottage.
