The Brazilian media today reveals that Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are both making moves to sign Rodrigo Muniz from Fulham.
The story comes from Goal Brasil, who highlight that the centre-forward has been drawing big attention following his season with the Whites.
It’s said that Tottenham and Chelsea have both made approaches to learn more about Muniz’s situation at Fulham. That probably involves trying to find out what the cost would be.
Spurs and the Blues are now described as ‘evaluating’ the possibility of spending some money on his signing this summer.
Muniz, who last year returned from a loan at Middlesbrough, had a positive season at Fulham with ten goals and one assist in 33 appearances.
Goal Brasil claim that the Whites had been demanding €8m to sell him in 2023. Now, they want something between €30m and €40m, given his good performances in the final stretch of the season.
It then remains to be seen whether Tottenham and Chelsea are willing to spend that amount on the striker. The outlet claims that a transfer out of Fulham this summer is indeed the ‘most likely’ outcome for the player.
