Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz revealed he struggled last season for Fulham following his wife’s miscarriage.
The Brazilian forward, 25, scored an 83rd-minute equaliser in Fulham’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle, a clever and improvised flick at Craven Cottage.

It was his first Premier League goal since the 1-1 draw at Brighton in August 2025.
Yet for the first time, the South American has revealed his issues off the pitch in his home life – though the couple are expecting a baby within the coming months.
Muniz said: “Last season was really difficult for me.
“Now I can say it but I had to have surgery, my wife was pregnant last season and unfortunately we lost the baby. But God is good all the time.
All eight of Muniz’s Premier League appearances this season have come as a substitute.
And he feels he has done enough to warrant a slot in the starting line-up under new boss Alvaro Arbeloa once the international break is over.
Muniz said: “I train hard every week to get opportunities to play and I want to play more.
