Fulham’s second goal at Stoke City last Saturday has now officially been awarded to Rodrigo Muniz.
It was originally credited to Fabio Carvalho after his shot went in off the far post, but closer inspection revealed that a touch from Muniz diverted it on target.
The Club therefore submitted an application to the Dubious Goals Panel, who in turn agreed that it was a decisive intervention, and therefore should go down as a Muniz goal.
It takes Rodrigo’s tally for the season to five, with the striker averaging an impressive strike rate of a goal every 71 minutes in the Sky Bet Championship.
