Fulham and England U15 international striker Kayden Sessegnon set to snub trio of Premier League giants for Fulham
Sources have informed TBR Football that the 15-year-old wonderkid is firmly committed to Fulham.
The nephew of Fulham No.30 Ryan Sessegnon is one of the finest talents in the Premier League for his age, and has already appeared for the U18 side at Craven Cottage.
Sessegnon is unable to sign a professional contract until he turns 17 – but can agree to a scholarship on his 16th birthday in July.
The lack of a contract means Fulham would typically be at risk of having the forward poached, but TBR Football understand the England U15 international wants to follow in family footsteps and eventually make his senior debut for the Cottagers.
It points to a positive development for Fulham, who managed to keep the talented Josh King in west London, and have also been able to convince Seth Ridgeon – captain of the England U17 side – that his abilities are best served at Craven Cottage.
As aforesaid, Fulham can boast a fantastic academy, and were even churning out talents an entire decade ago as well.
Patrick Roberts – who has been compared to Marcus Rashford – was the best of the bunch back in 2015, which led Manchester City to spend £12m on the attacker when he was just 18.
However, the Citizens only ever handed the Londoner three appearances, sending him on seven loans before selling him to Sunderland for £3m in January 2022.
Therefore, Sessegnon has made a wise decision in committing himself to Fulham.
