Fulham FC is delighted to announce that Tom Cairney has signed a contract to remain at Fulham for a further season.

The deal takes our Captain into a 12th campaign, keeping him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2027.

Speaking to FFCtv, Cairney said: “This is my club. This is where I want to be. As long as I keep playing, affecting games, and helping the Club on and off the pitch, then I’ll stay as long as possible.

“I said last year that I wanted to stay for a long time, and this year’s no different. I’ve loved being here, I’ve loved playing here. It’s a special thing, my longevity here and the things we’ve done together, and are still doing together.”

Tony Khan added: “I am thrilled that Tom Cairney has signed an extension with Fulham and that he will play his 12th season with us!

“Tom joined us in the summer of 2015 and has played an integral part in some of Fulham's finest moments, with vital goals, distinguished leadership and with his true passion for the Club. Tom delivers time and time again for the supporters he appreciates so much.

“Congratulations, Tom! Come on Fulham!”

Cairney continues to play a vital role in Marco Silva’s squad, featuring 18 times so far this season. 2026 has been particularly productive for the skipper, with goal contributions against both Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough, while also starting the Liverpool draw and Chelsea win.

His excellent strike at Selhurst Park means he’s just two goals shy of a half century for the Club, while he has now racked up 372 appearances, with the Boro match moving him above Sir Bobby Robson in our all-time appearances list.
