Fulham have signed Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, a Norway international, has been playing in Scotland since January 2014 and scored 20 goals in a total of 114 appearances across all competitions.
Johansen was named as the SPFA Player of the Year at the end of the 2014-15 season, when he scored nine goals in 34 Scottish Premiership games, and also took Celtic's Player of the Year award.
But he had less of an impact last season, when scoring just one goal in 23 appearances, and Johansen had only featured once so far this season when coming on as a sub in Celtic's Champions League win over Astana.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers had confirmed earlier on Friday that Johansen was on his way out of the club after no agreement could be reached over a new contract.
He said: "I have found him a really good guy. He has worked over pre-season and it's been difficult because he's been unable to reach an agreement with the club.
"But I think he has always wanted to play in England, so the opportunity has come for him. He wasn't going to sign a new deal, so it's one that probably works well for both really."
The former Bodo/Glimt and Stromsgodset player made his Norway debut in 2013 and has gone on to win 29 caps, scoring three times.
Fulham Football Club statement
The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Stefan Johansen from Celtic for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old Norway international arrives on a three-year deal, with a Club option for a further 12 months.
Johansen joined FK Bodø/Glimt in his homeland as a youngster, and was just 16 when he made his senior debut for the club. He later moved on to Strømsgodset IF where he enjoyed tremendous success, finishing second in the Tippeligaen in 2012, before winning the competition the following year.
In January 2014 the central midfielder completed his move to Celtic for a reported £2m, and he won the Scottish Premiership title in each of his two-and-a-half seasons at the club.
He was named Celtic’s Player of the Season and joint Players’ Player of the Season for 2014/15, and departs having made 114 appearances and scored 20 times.
Johansen netted on his Norway debut in August 2013, and has now represented his country on 29 occasions.
