Fulham have rejected an offer from Nottingham Forest for winger Anthony Knockaert, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The French winger, 28, completed a permanent move to the west London outfit in July for a fee of £10.5-11million after a season on loan.
That has not discouraged new Forest boss Chris Hughton, who managed Knockaert while he was at Brighton.
A Fulham source has told Football Insider that Forest’s offer to take Knockaert on loan for the season has been rejected.
It is a blow to Hughton, who believes the French winger has the ability to add a new dimension to his side’s attack.
He made a huge impact during his three seasons at Brighton, where he scored 27 goals and supplied 25 assists in 139 matches.
