Fulham academy prospect Harvey Elliot has become the youngest-ever Premier League player after being introduced as a late substitute against Wolves.

At 16 years and 30 days, the attacking midfielder beats the record held by another former Fulham player, Matthew Briggs, who had been the youngest at 16 years and 65 days since 2007.

Elliot, who made his Fulham debut as a 15-year-old in the EFL Cup win at Millwall last September, replaced Andre Zambo Anguissa in the 88th minute of the 1-0 defeat at Molineux - his second first-team appearance.

The London-born player became Fulham's youngest ever player in the clash at the New Den last September.

He is considered one of Fulham's top prospects and has been watched by host of top clubs from the Premier League and Europe.

Elliot - who is still on a youth contract at Craven Cottage - has scored five goals for the U18s this season and also been a regular for the club's U21s side.
