Aberdeen have completed the signing of Fulham midfielder Robert Milsom. The 24-year-old, who can play on the left side or in the centre of midfield, becomes the Dons' third signing of the January transfer window.
Milsom, who came through the youth ranks at Craven Cottage, has signed on at Pittodrie until the end of the season.
During his time with the London club, Milsom - who will wear 27 for Aberdeen - made two appearances. His sole appearance for Fulham came in February 2009, when he came on as a substitute for the final 10 minutes of a 3-0 defeat at Manchester United.
After temporary spells with Brentford and Southend United in 2008, the player spent four months on loan at Finnish club Turun Pallosura earlier this year.
"We are delighted to have signed Rob," manager Craig Brown told Aberdeen's official website. "He excelled on loan in Finland last season.
"Again our good relationship with Fulham through the manager Mark Hughes and his relationship with Archie, from their time at Manchester United and my friendship with reserve team coach Billy McKinlay, has enabled us to make this additional good signing for Aberdeen."
Fulham FC statement:
The Club can confirm that Rob Milsom has joined Aberdeen on a permanent deal.
Rob joined the Whites at the age of 11 and developed through the Academy before signing professional terms with the Club, becoming a regular in the Development Squad.
Rob made his Barclays Premier League debut for Fulham against Manchester United at Old Trafford in February 2009 but was ruled out of action for the remainder of the season just one week later after suffering a knee injury.
Last season Rob spent time on loan with Finnish side TPS Turku before returning to Fulham in August 2010.
The Club would like to wish Rob every success for the future and thanks him for his hard work and professionalism during his time at the Club.
