Fulham FC statement - Geoff Pruce
The Club is delighted to announce that Josh King has signed a new long-term contract with Fulham.

The four-year deal ties the highly-rated midfielder to Craven Cottage until 30th June 2029.

Speaking to FFCtv after signing, King said: “Honestly, I’m delighted about it. I’ve been at the Club for about 13 years now, so it’s a long, long time, and I’m just delighted to be continuing and staying for another four years.

“I say to my family it’s like a second home, and it’s such a nice feeling to be able to stay here. Obviously I know a lot of people [here], I’ve got some good friends and made some really good connections, so it will be nice to continue that on.”

Tony Khan added: “I’m pleased to announce that Josh King has today signed a long-term contract with Fulham, keeping him at the Club until at least the summer of 2029.

“Josh is an exciting young player. He has been with Fulham for many years and has consistently impressed and has developed well, with Marco giving him his senior debut in the Carabao Cup win over Birmingham City in August 2024, followed in December by his Premier League debut when he came on against Brighton at the Cottage, and this summer he’s also performed well for England U19s at the Euros.

“We’re thrilled that Josh will be with us for the long-term! Congratulations, Josh! Come on Fulham!”

Having progressed through the Academy ranks – usually playing at least a year above his age group – last season saw King secure his senior breakthrough.

After making his First Team debut in a 2-0 win away at St Andrew’s in the League Cup, King made his Premier League bow from the bench as Brighton & Hove Albion were beaten at the Cottage.

A first start in the top flight quickly followed against Southampton, and he ended the campaign with 11 senior matches to his name, eight of which came in the Premier League.

His penultimate appearance of 2024/25 was a pivotal one against Brentford, as he played a key role in swinging the momentum back in Fulham’s favour, with Tom Cairney and Harry Wilson scoring the game-winning goals within four minutes of King’s introduction.

Still just 18 years of age, everyone at Fulham is thrilled to see one of the brightest young prospects in the country commit his future to the Club. .
