Fulham midfielder Harry Wilson saw a potential move from Fulham to Leeds United fall through on transfer Deadline Day.
Fulham, earlier in the day, had rejected a loan offer from Leeds for the Wales international.
Although, the two clubs remained in talks, as the Premier League newboys were hopeful of securing a permanent deal for Wilson before the summer transfer window closed.
Standard Sport understands Leeds met Fulham’s asking price for 28-year-old but a deal was held up with the Cottagers attempting to secure multiple moves for wingers.
With Fulham confident in their deals, an opportunity for Wilson to move to Leeds was reopened. Both parties were happy to proceed and a deal sheet was signed.
However, at the last minute Fulham pulled out of a deal and as a result, Wilson will be staying put at Craven Cottage.
