Fulham is delighted to announce that Harrison Reed has agreed a contract extension that keeps him at Fulham until June 2027.
There is also a Club option in the deal to extend it by a further year.
Now into his fifth season as a Fulham player, Reed told FFCtv: “I’m buzzing to get it over the line. It’s something we’ve been working on for a short period, but I’m really happy to put pen to paper.
“I made it clear from the first day that, for me, my future was here, and if the Club matched that then let’s get something done.
“Thankfully, the Club’s ambition aligned with mine, so I’m really happy and looking forward to the future.”
Tony Khan added: “It’s a great pleasure to announce the contract extension of Harrison Reed until 2027, with an option for 2028.
“Harrison is an important part of our squad, he's been with us for years, and he's become instrumental on the pitch, and an important member of the Fulham family off the pitch.
“We're delighted that he has committed his future to us and we look forward to many more memorable performances from our beloved ‘Ginger Iniesta’ in the future!
“Come on Fulham!”
Reed joined the Whites on loan as a combative defensive midfielder at the start of 2019/20, and played a key role in the side’s promotion, appearing 28 times, including every minute of our Play-Off success that culminated with victory over Brentford at Wembley.
His form saw him finish third in our Player of the Season vote, and the Club made his move from Southampton permanent that summer.
A first full season of Premier League football for the player followed, before Reed added another promotion to his CV, this time winning the Championship in 2021/22.
Under Marco Silva, the midfielder had been given more freedom to get forward, something that was evident in the numbers he posted as we finished 10th last season, registering three goals and four assists in his 37 Premier League appearances.
The only game Reed – who is part of the leadership group at Fulham – missed last season was due to a suspension, and he now has 150 appearances for the Club to his name.
