Fulham coachMarco Silva spoke to the press ahead of Fulham’s away trip to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Marco started the press conference by addressing his team news: “We’re still assessing Willian,” he said.
“All the other players, they are probably going to be available, even Willian, but we have to do a little bit more [assessment].
“Broja wasn’t well and wasn’t in a condition to be involved in the game but he’s okay.”
Armando has been spoken about a lot with his lack of playing time since joining a big talking point, however, Marco confirms that the player is continuing to work hard off the pitch.
“Armando has his ambitions,” said Marco. “And of course, when we sign a player on deadline day, we expect for him to be a really important piece in our squad, if not, we will not move in that direction.
“He was aiming to come here and play football matches but he arrived one day before Burnley and we had only some quick meetings with him.
“He’s working hard. Different clubs, different styles of play. It takes time and we can see his quality on the training pitch."
Rodrigo Muniz has been the man in form for Fulham in recent weeks, adding another to his tally last weekend against Aston Villa, and Marco is delighted with his form.
“Rodrigo got his chance and stepped in and showed his quality.
“He’s had spells in the season where he hasn’t scored, or injuries have stopped his run but now he's playing well and I’m really happy for him.
It took a late winner from Manchester United to snatch a point away from Fulham in the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage, and Marco knows the Red Devils’ good form could cause problems for his side.
“One thing is clear for me they are more confident,” he said. “When you achieve, all the teams, all the players, they need good results to be more confident.
“They have many, many top players that can decide the game in any moment of the game and it’s going to be really challenging for us.
“I think we’re going to be ready for it. I assure you that you’re going to be ready for it and we have to go to give them a really competitive climate to fight for the three points.”
