Fulham manager Marco Silva says his Fulham side made their Emirates FA Cup ambitions clear in their 4-1 win over Watford.

The Whites cruised to victory with a dominant display over their Championship opponents, with goals from Rodrigo Muniz, Raúl Jiménez, Joachim Andersen and Timothy Castagne securing a place in the Fourth Round.

"Firstly, and it's important, we were really serious again," Marco said.

"I think the approach, the way we planned the game, the way we didn’t change anything in terms of preparation, the communication with the players. And the players showed that the way we approached the game was serious once again."

Marco's men did all they could to raise the temperature on a bitterly cold night at the Cottage, providing a scintillating performance.

"First, it’s a great competition, it's an unbelievable competition. A little bit strange to be played on a Thursday night to be honest. It's a Saturday afternoon competition and a competition that everybody loves in this country.

"Everybody can dream to shine in the competition as well. The games are really tricky, it doesn't matter who you are playing or if you're at home or away.

"The ambition is the same as in the Premier League, to win every game. We want to go as far as we can in this competition."

While his well-taken goal opened the scoring, Muniz was forced off at half-time with an injury.

"Firstly, great goal from him. Great finish from him, not an easy finish. It was a proper striker's finish.

"Unfortunately he felt something in his back and it was impossible for him to continue in the second half.

We'll have to assess him tomorrow and see how he'll recover from that."
