Fulham manager Marco Silva says he’ll know what to expect ahead of Fulham’s trip to West Ham thanks to his previous encounters with manager Graham Potter.
Potter, who was appointed by the Hammers last week, has previously faced Fulham as Brighton and Chelsea boss.
“Of course, we know Graham really well and he knows ourselves well,” Marco explained. “It’s not going to be the first time for sure.
“They played a game last Friday (a 2-1 Emirates FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa). It was a chance for us to analyse and to be honest, what he did and what he planned for his team didn’t surprise us because it’s his team and it’s what he likes to do.
“It’s about focusing on ourselves, what we can do or not, and knowing the main ideas of West Ham is going to be there.”
The Whites travel to the London Stadium looking to extend their eight-game unbeaten run, which Marco says has given his team plenty of confidence.
“It’s been a great run for us. We should have taken more points because we deserve it the way we have been playing in some of those games, but it’s been really, really good.
“We showed the resilience, showed the quality, showed that we have been able to be competitive in any stadium in this country against any team and we want to repeat again against West Ham tomorrow.
“The teams when they play against us, they know what they’re going to face and what type of game they’re going to play. The players, they are confident that they can do a good job and we collectively are a strong side.”
The gaffer also provided an update on the January transfer window, which he doesn’t anticipate being a busy one.
“It’s going to be very quiet for us. Of course, we have one or two positions that we’d like to strengthen. We have the confidence in our players, we are really pleased with them.
“If we can add extra quality and someone that can have an impact like we did last summer, we’re going to do it. If not, we keep the same group of players and we go until the end of the season because we have trust in them."
