Fulham Head Coach Scott Parker knows Huddersfield Town will turn up at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon ready for battle.

Following relegation from the Premier League, the Terriers have struggled for consistent form and currently sit six points clear of relegation trouble.

“Huddersfield are a team that was in the Premier League with us last year and have not got the results, certainly early on in the season,” Parker stated. “Their position in the league is what it is, and they’re probably disappointed with that.

“But they’re under new management and if there’s one thing you can guarantee from their squad of players it’s that they’ll fight. They’re trying everything they can to scrap for points.

“It’s always difficult and I always say to the team that first and foremost you’re going to have to win the fight against this team, and hopefully after that your quality prevails.”

Town have relied heavily on striker Karlan Grant this term, with the striker contributing 13 league goals.

“He’s a good player for them and has scored a few goals,” Parker said. “He’s certainly a threat for them going forward, but it would be unfair on the others to just single him out.

“There’s Fraizer Campbell, the boy from Arsenal that they’ve got in, [Emile] Smith Rowe.

“They’ve got some good players who you’ve got to respect. They can hurt you, so we’ll be aware of that.”

Fulham will be without the ineligible Terence Kongolo and suspended Tim Ream at the weekend, but there is some positive news coming out of the treatment room.

“We’re still struggling a little bit with injuries, but we’ve got a couple coming back,” Parker revealed.

“Neeskens Kebano will be around it and involved hopefully, Abou Kamara’s trained only two days so it might be a little bit touch and go.

“Everyone else, it is what it is. Knockaert will still be unavailable for this game, Mitrovic is outside but it’s still too early to call really.”
