Fulham Harrison Reed has won the Premier League’s Guinness Goal of the Month for January.

It was a strike that combined technique with context, as his venomous, swirling long ranger in the seventh minute of stoppage time at the Hammy End not only lit up Craven Cottage, but also earned his side a richly deserved 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

“It’s obviously an amazing achievement to win Goal of the Month,” Reedy told fulhamfc.com.

“To be honest, it wasn’t so long ago I was thinking about the goals I’ve scored, and when I finish my career is there going to be any decent ones to look back on! So there’s one.

“Obviously a massive goal – the timing of it, to get a point against the champions, a really special moment for me.

It’s a real honour to be voted – thank you to the people who voted for me – and I’m just really happy to win this trophy.”

This marks a clean sweep for Reedy, who also claimed the Club's and Match of the Day's Goal of the Month votes.
