Fulham get an FA Cup home draw

last updated Sunday 02nd December 2007, 10:59 PM
Fulham get a home draw in the Third Round of the F.A. Cup against League One (old Div 3) strugglers Bristol Rovers.

The last time the two teams met at Craven Cottage was back in November 1998 when Fulham, starting their journey to the Premiership, won 1-0 in a League One clash. As far as the F.A. Cup is concerned the two sides last met in Round One in 1981 when Rovers sent The Cottagers back to London 2-1 losers.

Other fixtures include holders Chelsea being handed a home tie against QPR and 2006 winners Liverpool travelling to Luton or Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal travel to Burnley while there are two other all-Premier League meetings with Tottenham hosting Reading and West Ham facing Manchester City.

Non-League Havant & Waterlooville, conquerors of Notts County, could face another amateur side after being paired with Horsham or Swansea.

Games to be played on the 5th and 6th of January
