Fulham on 7 points in 22nd place in the Championship lost 2-0 to Middlesbrough last time out, after previously winning their first two matches of the campaign.
Caretaker manager Kit Symons remains in charge following the dismissal of Felix Magath last month and will be hoping a good result will help him to be named as Magath's replacement.
Norwich city on 21points in 1st place dropped points at home for the fourth time this season in an entertaining 1-1 draw with Rotherham two weeks ago.
They retained top spot, though, and boast the strongest away record in the division having won four of their five fixtures on their travels.
However Norwich have failed to record a victory in their last 16 meetings with Fulham, stretching back to March 1986. The Cottagers have won 12 of those clashes since the Canaries' last win in this encounter.
Fulham Caretaker Manager Kit Symons said at his Friday press conference. "It will be a good game of football because they are the top team [in the division] but they play good football as well. And I think people have seen certainly over the last five games that we can play some excellent football too, so it will be a good match, evenly matched I would think, and I'm very much looking forward to it.
