Fulham defender Layvin Kurzawa is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury.
The on-loan Paris Saint-Germain left-back confirmed the news on social media on Monday, detailing that he had suffered a ‘ruptured ligament in training’ while posting a picture of his knee in a brace.
Kurzawa, 30, has made only three Premier League appearances since joining Fulham last summer, finding opportunities limited.
This is partly due to the form of USMNT international Antonee Robinson, who has become Fulham’s first choice, but also because of fitness issues during the first half of the season.
Kurzawa arrived from PSG unfit after a season without having played competitively, and then suffered a calf injury ahead of the World Cup break.
