Fulham have signed 18-year-old winger Ryan Williams from Portsmouth on the final day of the transfer window.
The Australian, who has made six appearances for Pompey this season, appeared for Fulham's reserve team in their 1-0 win over Wolves on Monday at Telford.
"This is a good opportunity for Ryan to move to an established Premier League outfit. We wish him all the best," said Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton.
Both the size of the fee and the length of the deal are undisclosed.
Williams made his Portsmouth debut in August's 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough.
Williams said joining Fulham was a "big step forward''.
"It's been a long few days actually, finding out whether or not I was going to be signing,'' he said.
"But I've signed a two-and-a-half-year deal here so I'm really happy to be part of the club, it's a good club.
"It's such a big move coming to a Premiership club.
"It's just really for my footballing education and playing more games, playing for the reserves and stuff like that.''
