Fulham have completed a club-record £34.6m deal to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin.

The Brazilian, 22, has penned a five-year contract with the Cottagers, who have the option to extend it by a further year.

"I am happy to be in the biggest league in the world, at a huge club, too," said Kevin.

"I'm very flattered for everything that's happening in my life, and I hope to score a lot of goals this season and do great work here in Fulham."

Kevin scored 17 goals in 57 matches in all competitions for the Ukrainian side and is the second wide player to head to Craven Cottage on deadline day.

The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of exciting young winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has agreed a contract until the summer of 2030, with a Club option to extend by a further year.

“I am happy to be in the biggest league in the world, at a huge club, too,” Kevin said. “I’m very flattered for everything that’s happening in my life, and I hope to score a lot of goals this season and do great work here in Fulham.”

Tony Khan added: “I’m very excited to officially welcome Kevin to Fulham! He joins the Club on a permanent transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk, until at least the summer of 2030. “Kevin is a young and versatile talent with exceptional pace, and we believe that he can be an important addition to the team!

“Come on Fulham!”

Kevin’s acceleration, quick feet and vision have proven a nightmare for defenders so far in his career, one which started in his native Brazil with Palmeiras.

In just 11 senior appearances he was able to add a league title to his CV, while simultaneously attracting the attention of Ukrainian giants Shakhtar, who brokered a reported €15m deal to bring him to Eastern Europe.

He helped his new side secure a league and cup double in his maiden campaign, retaining the Ukrainian Cup the following season while also sampling Champions League football for the first time.

Kevin was named Shakhtar Player of the Season by the club’s fans last year, and leaves with 17 goals and 10 assists to his name from just 57 appearances.

The winger has been capped by Brazil up to Under-20 level, scoring twice in five matches.
