Fulham midfielder Josh Onomah will play no part in Fulham's Premier League campaign until at least January after he was omitted from the team's 25-man Premier League squad due to injury, The Athletic understands.
Kevin McDonald, Stefan Johansen and club-record signing Jean Michael Seri have also missed the cut.
Fulham have a squad of 29 first-team players and Scott Parker said last week that some players would have to miss out due to the registration rules.
It is not clear how serious Onomah's injury is but it is understood to be sufficient enough for him to warrant missing the next 10 weeks of top-flight football.
Onomah has made two Premier League appearances already this season but was a notable absentee from the squad in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.
Seri spent last season on loan at Galatasaray in Turkey, and despite interest from Inter Milan and Galatasaray this summer, they were unable to secure a deal for his services.
After a delayed start to training due to quarantine, Seri made his Fulham return against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup, before playing a further 90 minutes in the club's fourth-round defeat by Brentford.
Seri was a club-record signing, arriving from Nice in a joint deal with Maxime Le Marchand for £25 million in the summer of 2018. After a bright start, he struggled to replicate the form that almost secured him a transfer to Barcelona in 2017.
Amid strong squad competition, it appears head coach Parker sees no place for him in the squad, at least until January.
Stefan Johansen and Kevin McDonald were both understood to be available for transfer this summer.
The club were understood to be open to offers for Johansen and willing to let McDonald leave for free, despite having one year left on his contract due to his years of service.
Both players have been integral figures at Craven Cottage since 2016, with more than 250 appearances between them.
Their omissions will be a sad moment for supporters but were not unexpected.
The squad list also confirms the inclusion of Joachim Andersen, who arrived on loan from Lyon on deadline day.
Parker revealed that the defender suffered an ankle ligament injury in training last week but his inclusion in the squad raises hopes that he will feature before Christmas.
