Fulham boss Alvaro Arbeloa spoke to the press ahead of Hull City’s visit to Craven Cottage.
Our Head Coach was asked about team news, and while there is positive news with Antonee Robinson set to return to the squad, Sweden international Hugo Larsson is a doubt.
“We have a small problem with Hugo and his groin,” said Arbeloa. “We will have to check after the training session but I’m not sure he will be available for tomorrow. All of the other players are fit and available tomorrow.”
Following last weekend’s late defeat at Ipswich, Arbeloa wants his players to keep beleiving in their abilities, and has called on them to focus on the things that had worked well before conceding at Portman Road.
“It [the defeat] wasn’t easy,” he said. “It was another game that we were controlling and then we conceded two goals, similar against Man United.
“When you feel a little bit under pressure and you score the first goal, and you see that first win is so close, you see the final line, and you don’t want to make any mistakes. That is something we need to face, and we need to keep doing the same things we were doing before we scored a goal.
“I know we are not in an easy situation, but we need to stay true to our ideas and keep doing the things that put us in front. We have been training really hard. I have seen the commitment of my players all week and we are ready for another battle tomorrow. The players are so focussed on tomorrow's game.
“For me, it’s important the players believe in the way we can play and the way they train every day. The last 15 minutes in the Premier League see more transitions, more direct play, less control, and you can never control how your opponents react, but we can control what we do, and for us that’s the most important thing.
“The players are looking for their reward and for the game where they can get a win for our supporters. They deserve it because of their support. The only thing we are thinking about is to get the victory for them.”
