Fulham attacker Anthony Knockaert is reportedly wanted by Huddersfield Town who are in talks to sign him on loan, sources have told Football Insider.
The wide man, 31, is currently on loan at Greek club Volos NPS after finding himself out of favour at Craven Cottage.
Huddersfield are working on a deal for Fulham to cancel his loan early at Volos to allow him to make the move to Yorkshire.
The Championship have targeted a move for the former Leicester and Brighton winger as they look to bolster their attacking options to boost their survival hopes.
Knockaert has only made nine league appearances for Volos this season and only four of those have been starts.
He started the season with a muscle injury and has struggled to nail down a starting role in the side.
The ex-Brighton star has only registered one goal for Volos.
The wide-man last featured for Fulham on 5 February 2022 in an FA Cup tie against Man City.
Fulham signed Knockaert from Brighton in a £10million deal in July 2020 following a successful loan spell at the club.
The winger has contributed four goals and six assists in 56 appearances across all competitions for the Londoners.
Knockaert’s Fulham contract is set to expire at the end of the 2022-23 season.
