Fulham at home to West Ham

last updated Monday 20th December 2010, 2:04 PM

Fulham have a home game against West Ham on Boxing Day with a kickoff of 12noon. Due to The Cottagers seeming inability to take three points the game is of more than the usual importance.

The clash is being built up as a must win if Mark Hughes wants to remain in charge at Fulham.

With The Cottagers stuck in 17th spot and remaining out of the dropzone by virtue of goal difference alone Mark Hughes needs the three points to avoid dropping into the relegation zone.

The reason is that Wolves are at home to Wigan later on Boxing Day and if we are beaten then either one of them will go above us.

Fulham have won just once in the last 6 visits of West Ham which was 3-2 last season. In the previous 5 visits there were 3 defeats and 2 draws.

In addition to that in our last 6 home games we have won once and drawn three times with one defeat.

The Hammers have drawn three and lost three in their last six away games.

With all the draws in the stats we need an extra spark on Boxing Day or we are certainly in the mire.

Come on you Whites!!!
