Fulham's match against Brentford is scheduled to be the first Championship game to be played when the Championship resumes on 20 June.

No Championship fixtures have been played since 8 March because of the coronavirus pandemic, and the EFL's restart date is provisional, subject to safety requirements being met.

The two promotion rivals will meet in a 12:30 BST kick-off.

Sky Sports has announced the first Championship games to be broadcast live when the league resumes, with promotion-chasing Leeds, West Brom, Fulham and Brentford all in front of the cameras on the first weekend back.

The action returns with the derby double-header on Saturday, June 20 as west London rivals Fulham and Brentford meet at Craven Cottage (12.30pm), before second-placed West Brom take on Birmingham later that afternoon (3pm) with the chance to go top - for a few hours at least.

Current leaders Leeds will try to retain their advantage and edge that bit closer to a Premier League return when they travel to Cardiff for a midday kick-off on Sunday, June 21.

Sky Sports has confirmed live coverage of 11 Championship games so far. In addition to the Brentford game Fulham away at Leeds will be shown on Saturday June 27th

Revised Championship schedule in full.

There will be no midweek fixtures on 23-24 June, but full rounds scheduled every subsequent midweek until the final matches of the regular season, which are set to be played on Wednesday, 22 July.

The play-offs are expected to follow, with 2 or 3 August targeted as a potential date for the final.
