Fulham will face Bristol Rovers at Craven Cottage in the Second Round of the Carabao (League) Cup in the week commencing the 21st August, exact date to be confirmed.
The last time Fulham face Bristol Rovers was back in the early days of Roy Hodgeson's reign, Janury 2008, when they
beat us 5-3 on penalties, in a FA Cup replay.
Fulham progressed to the Second round by beating Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 at Wycombe on Tuesday, while Bristol Rovers, from League One beat Cambridge United 4-1 to progress..
As usual the rest of the draw created some interesting fixtures.
Sheffield United will face Leicester and Blackburn will host local rivals Burnley in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Sunderland beat Bury 1-0 at Gigg Lane to become the penultimate team to secure their place in the draw.
Grimsby and Derby County will have to meet again to decide who travels to Barnsley in the second round after their original tie was abandoned on Tuesday because of waterlogging.
West Ham will face Cheltenham in the second round, with the League Two side hosting that game despite being drawn away - the London Stadium will not be ready for football in time.
Similarly, the newly-laid pitch at Rodney Parade means Newport County will play their 'home' tie against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Elsewhere the draw saw a couple of tasty derbies come out of the hat - Blackburn Rovers will host fierce rivals Burnley while QPR and Brentford meet in a west London derby.
