Fulham have allowed Cauley Woodrow to join Barnsley.

The 23-year-old striker is in talks over an initial loan to Oakwell with a permanent deal in January.

Slavisa Jokanovic will allow the former England Under-21 to leave Craven Cottage for regular football after starting the season with Aleksandar Mitrovic leading his attack.

Aboubakar Kamara has also been drafted in as a wide forward and Andre Schurrle also provides Jokanovic options.

Woodrow will be allowed to leave for League One after seven years at the club, which included loans to the Championship with Burton and Bristol City.

He is set to lead a promotion chase back to the second tier for Barnsley following relegation last season.

Woodrow effectively replaces Tom Bradshaw after the striker’s £1million move to Millwall was completed this week — breaking a transfer record which has stood since 1989.

Wales striker Bradshaw, 26, has joined the Lions on loan before making it permanent in January.

He is the club's first £1m player — and it is the most Millwall have paid since an £800,000 fee to sign striker Paul Goddard from Derby.

The League One Tykes will receive a further £250,000 if Bradshaw helps manager Neil Harris' Lions bag promotion to the Premier League this season.
