Fulham (1) 3-2 (2) Wigan Athletic
Fulham hit back after conceding an early goal and boosted their play-off hopes with another home victory.
They went behind after just two minutes when Pajtim Kasami volleyed home against his former club.
Tom Cairney rounded off a lovely team move by firing in the equaliser on the half-hour mark and Lucas Piazon put the Whites ahead three minutes later.
Ben Brereton’s header a couple of minutes into the second half hauled Forest level, but an own goal by Jack Hobbs with 18 minutes remaining gave Fulham the points.
Forest, with former Fulham forward Ross McCormack up front, went ahead through Kasami following an error by Ragnar Sigurdsson, who was replaced by Michael Madl shortly before the equaliser.
After Cairney had volleyed in Ryan Sessegnon’s cross, Piazon put the hosts ahead by evading three challenges and finishing emphatically.
It was a goal of sheer quality but, just as they did in the first half, Fulham conceded two minutes into the second, with Brereton heading in Danny Fox’s cross.
But the lead was restored when Neeskens Kebano’s strike after being set up Sone Aluko went in via a deflection off Hobbs.
